What is SOC 2

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a security framework developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). It defines criteria for managing customer data based on five Trust Services Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. An independent auditor issues a SOC 2 report after evaluating whether an organization’s controls meet these standards.
